Thoughts

It was a pleasure and a privilege to get to meet you Jean. You certainly were an inspiring lady who lived a life in a really authentic loving way with patience and guidance for your family and friends. May this candle guide you forward to your loved ones. May you be pain free and at peace in the knowledge you are so loved. 🙏🕯️

Jean was a lovely, kind, brave and thoughtful lady. I got to know her well whilst her daughter Elizabeth and I were together. We shared much fun, laughs and memorable times including a super trip to Krakow. Many happy memories and Jean was really interesting to talk to, especially her passion for history and the WW1 trips she attended for many years. Jean is pain free now and can rejoin her beloved family. A pleasure to know and I will always remember her fondly and her delicious coffee cakes xx David

I'm so very grateful to have had my wonderful cousin Jean in my life, we had so much in common. The love of family history and our ancestors. The love of WW1 and our GT uncle Walter Mappin who died on the Somme. The love of Tudor history. The love of telling old stories so that they are never forgotten. The love of swopping old photo's of family members so that their faces are never forgotten. The love of sharing and buying of books. The love of history drama's on TV.The love of our Grandsons Paul and Ethan that knew no bounds. The love of our phone calls where we chatted and put the world to rights. My life has been so much richer for having had Jean in it, she was a kind, caring, selfless person.I will miss her beyond words.I'm so sad I can't attend the funeral.I send love to all who grieve and miss Jean.xx
